PPH researchers call for pollution to be considered in pharmaceutical environmental risk assessment

An article out today in Environmental Science and Technology Letters raises concerns that tools designed to assess and report on pharmaceutical environmental sustainability remain predominantly focused on carbon, and not integrating pollution. This is hindering progress in reducing the environmental and human health risks of pharmaceutical pollution.
